A DAY IN THE LIFE: LUCAS VERISSIMO
PART ONE - QUIET
The quieter you become, The more you can hear.
We first read this quote on the back of Lucas Verissimo's tee-shirt not too long ago. We also only met Lucas recently, thanks to photographer Fernando Mendes, a mutual friend.
You may remember Fernando from the work he created for OBRA a couple of seasons ago. Back then, he took us along for a ride following São Paulo bike messenger DECO, crisscrossing the city. Then, he brought us into the intimacy of some of his friends' homes and creative workplaces.
It was, still is, great work. We're doing it again.
For this new assignment, meant to demonstrate the versatility of the OBRA Mules, Fernando paints the portraits of two influential young voices in São Paulo's creative community. One of these voices belongs to the designer, environmentalist, entrepreneur, and rock climber Lucas Verissimo, whom we mentioned above. We'll let you know more about Lucas in the coming days.
For now, we'll remain quiet. But not without first inviting you to take a look at Part One of Fernando's photo essay on Lucas. Enjoy!
